We are seeking an experienced Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead our security efforts and ensure a safe environment for our team and assets.
Position Overview
The Chief Security Officer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all security policies and procedures to protect the company’s physical and digital assets. The CSO will lead the security team, coordinate with law enforcement, and manage risk assessments to minimize vulnerabilities and respond effectively to security threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Lead and manage the security team to ensure effective protection of company assets.
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits; identify potential threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with local authorities, law enforcement, and emergency services as necessary.
- Oversee physical security measures including access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response plans.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to security.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on security status and incidents.
- Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior security management role, preferably in a multinational or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and emergency response planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
