It plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks faced by the institution. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that effective risk management practices are implemented, regulatory compliance is upheld, and a strong risk culture is fostered across the organization. Processo de seleção/Requisitos Pessoais
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective enterprise risk management framework in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Conduct risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and quantify potential risks faced by the institution.
Collaborate with various business units and departments to assess risk exposures, develop risk mitigation strategies, and monitor risk controls.
Stay updated on relevant regulatory guidelines and industry trends to ensure compliance and proactively address emerging risks.
Support the establishment and maintenance of risk policies, procedures, and guidelines across the organization.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
Proven experience in risk management, preferably within the financial services industry, with a solid understanding of various risk types and mitigation strategies.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to risk management in Mozambique.
