The AB InBev is hiring a Packaging Machine Specialist.
The Key Purpose of this role is to maintain equipment in an as new condition, assuring reliable performance to standard through inspections, corrective actions to restore equipment back to inherent condition, problem solving to address root cause of failures and loop closure and provide input into the ZBB maintenance budget. Coach operators in the correct way to operate equipment and perform autonomous operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Safety, Health, and Environmental Compliance
- Comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures and applicable legislation.
- Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
- Identify unsafe practices through Safety Interaction Observations (SIOs).
- Conduct safety inspections.
- Audit safe maintenance practices.
- Ensure adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies.
- Ensure maintenance tools are in good working order.
Maintenance and Operations
- Locate plant, equipment, spare parts, and relevant documentation and/or systems.
- Plan and prepare maintenance tasks.
- Carry out repairs and maintenance activities.
- Operate workshop equipment.
Teamwork and Development
- Communicate effectively within teams.
- Contribute to personal and team development.
Performance and Service Delivery
- Manage backlog effectively.
- Generate tags for follow-on work.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with zero rework.
Key Attributes and Competencies
- Technical high school qualification in Mechanics and Electricity.
- Proficiency in computer use at user level.
- Acceptable level of English proficiency.
- Efficient, communicative, dynamic, and with a strong sense of responsibility.
Minimum Requirements
- Technical high school qualification in Mechanics and Electricity.
- 1-3 Years technical mechanical/electrical and bottling experience in a FMCG environment.
